Consistent in Empowering MSMEs, RB Rembang Holds Kick Off Training to Prepare 41 Competency Building Workshop Themes in 2024
Rembang, February 9th, 2024 – Rumah BUMN (RB) Rembang PT Semen Gresik started 2024 by holding a kick-off training program for fostered Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) entitled "Public speaking class: From Zero to Pro Speaker". The training agenda was held at the RB Rembang studio by presenting the speaker RB Rembang CEO, Yeni Indah Lestari.
"As an initial step in implementing the training program, the fostered MSMEs received training related to the importance of knowledge about public speaking. In the business world, being able to speak and dare to appear in public is a plus point in developing their business," she explained.
She said, so far RB Rembang has consistently succeeded in carrying out maximum performance in encouraging and supporting the progress of fostered MSMEs, by holding various training and competency improvement programs.
"The company continues to be committed to empowering fostered MSMEs on an ongoing basis, recorded in 2023 successfully held 25 trainings, especially in the aspects of soft skills and hard skills training. And in 2024, RB is targeting 41 competency building program themes," she explained.
The same thing was conveyed by the Senior Manager of Communication & CSR of PT Semen Gresik, Dharma Sunyata, since its establishment in August 2020 to December 2023, RB Rembang has succeeded in fostering and helping 371 MSMEs upgrade with a workforce of 1,527 people. RB Rembang also managed to record transactions reaching Rp 3 billion during its three years of operation.
"As a tangible form of empowering MSMEs, RB Rembang has made extraordinary achievements by sending thousands of Rembang MSME products to participate in national and international exhibitions, such as the 2022 Tong - Tong Fair in the Netherlands, the 2023 SME's Hub Asean Summit Exhibition in Labuhan Bajo, the Exhibition at Sarinah Jakarta, the 2023 Central Java Fair in Semarang and many others," he said.
Meanwhile, the Owner of Ecoprint Mutiara Collection, Siti Khulifah, admitted that she was helped by the various trainings carried out by RB Rembang. So far, there has been a lot of knowledge both in theory and practice from professional presenters.
"We business people get extraordinary opportunities with various trainings, such as marketing training, social media content, inspiring from successful entrepreneurs and many others. Hopefully, this will be able to help the fostered MSMEs to continue to develop and upgrade themselves in accordance with market developments," she concluded.
